La historia se remonta al año 1993, originalmente como trío, los pibes de Monte Grande, recién egresados (Roberto Berini, guitarra y voz; Rodolfo Vazquez en bajo y voz; y Adrian en batería) dan comienzo a la banda bajo el nombre de “El Abismo”. Por aquella época era muy lógica la influencia de Ramones, Pistols, Violadores, y Attaque, los cuales marcarían el sonido de la banda. Finalmente años mas tarde la banda pasaria a llamarse“Cascote” como así también el cambio durante el tiempo de sus integrantes. Nuevas influencias como Die Toten Hosen marcarían a la banda; habría fechas con bandas de renombre tales como Pilsen, Gatos Sucios y Flema; y así la banda se haría un poco más conocida en el mundo under del punk. Graban el tema “pizza y champagne” en un estudio de Lanús, el resultado es un tema bien punky pero muy prolijo, que formaría parte de Señal Punk de Mala Difusión Records. Luego de varios recitales la banda se decide a grabar algo mas profesional e independiente y es asi que ingresan al estudio “Fuera del Túnel”, y graban ahí sus dos producciones : *Año `99 (en primavera): “Producto de Nuestra Sociedad”, es presentado en un show muy importante en Cemento junto a nada menos que Marky Ramone; la banda ganaba adeptos y buenas críticas. *Año 2001 (Abril): lanzan “De Paseo por la Realidad”, cargado de letras comprometidas. Año 2003 graban Sheena is a punk rocker, para el compilado de Mala Difusión Records, (hoy Los Ramones mañana el mundo). 2006 es un año muy próspero, encuentra a Cascote con vistas a un nuevo disco para el 2007, y habiendo realizado muy buenos shows.
